In this role, the selected candidate will support forecasting, budgeting, month end close, cost control, inventory accuracy and control, product costing, lean manufacturing improvements, process improvement and internal controls.
The Controller will be second in command and responsible for accounting functions and inventory management. The Controller will have the opportunity to put together their own team and make top level decisions.
The plant controller position functions as a business partner with plant and financial management to effectively manage and control the local business. Leads the financial staff at the plant and is accountable for plant-level responsibilities including general accounting, payables, order entry, billing, cost accounting, bill of materials, business analysis, financial reporting, sales management, and computer operations. Will also liaison with corporate financial staff, as required.
This Plant Controller provides financial reporting, cost analysis, inventory analysis, and planning and decision support to the Plant Manager. The idea candidate will have successively progressive experience as a Plant Controller in a manufacturing operation with at least three years of plant controllership experience.
