In this role, the selected candidate will provide legal guidance, directly and in coordination with other attorneys and legal professionals, to senior executives and their teams on a range of legal, policy, business and strategic issues related to all aspects of technology utilized in the provision of financial services.
Create, plan and develop summer associate training programs and events. Conduct research to find out what other firms are doing. Determine the need to hire instructors outside of the firm. Plan the events to include selection of food and drink, tickets and transportation, working with caterers, attending the event and ensuring everything is running smoothly.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing a team of attorneys and paralegals providing legal and compliance support to a retail distribution sales force of nearly 5,000 registered representatives.
In this role, you will Work closely with Enterprise Privacy colleagues to identify risks and develop strategies for privacy/data protection and cross border data movement initiative implementation and compliance.
Provide legal advice on a wide range of matters concerning established and emerging technologies, including intellectual property issues, governance matters and responding to legal and regulatory changes.
In this role, you will have day-to-day experience counseling public companies, including with respect to corporate governance matters. Strong academic background, client management skills and superior drafting and negotiation skills.
