Responsibilities are assigned by the Director of the Nursing Department.The overarching focus of the Clinical Coordinator is the day-to-day delivery of patient care and long term growth and development of the staff and the services provided by the unit.
The RN UNIT CARE COORDINATOR is responsible for supervising, implementing, coordinating, and managing patient care through interpersonal contact with patients, families, nursing staff, and others on his/her respective unit in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Under general supervision the Operating Room ( OR ) Registered Nurse ( RN ) staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
In this role, the selected candidate will manage care/services provided and the development/implementation of patient plans of care for a group of assigned patients within scope of practice, to include performing on-site clinical assessments as appropriate, consulting with third party representatives regarding patient financial responsibility, providing case management and follow up, to ensure care plan stated outcomes are achieved.
In this role, you will maintain appropriate skill level in the operation of all home dialysis therapy - related equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems with the patient via telephone.
In this role, you will be responsible for the nurse Manager, the Operating Room (OR) Unit Supervisor provides professional nursing care as directed by the physicians in accordance with established policies and procedures of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
