This position will be responsible for the validation, yield and continued quality and cost support of sensor products. This Position is based in San Jose and reports into the automotive segment Product Engineering Manager.
The successful individual will own the overall product and pricing strategy as well as be responsible for the teams efforts in maximizing sales, profitability and continuing B-lines world class customer satisfaction and relations.
In this role, you will manage and execute communication activities with business partners regarding assigned solutions including but not limited to roadmaps, new features, and platform incidents as appropriate including user impacts and resolution plans.
The person in this position will plan and directs the production/manufacturing engineering function; and provides technical support to other engineering disciplines, manufacturing, or staff functions within the manufacturing facility.
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver on product roadmap priorities to achieve time to market and time to value targets by managing the product development lifecycle for a given product(s) through proven technical leadership.
In this role, you will analyze and ensure performance requirements are met; review test plans with software quality assurance team; collect and manage requirements from all stakeholders for one or more products across multiple product generations.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for planning and directing all production engineering activities and personnel in the plant in support of new product launches, ensuring process control systems for all production processes.
