In this role, the selected candidate will work with a team that is charged with helping to further develop, refine, and streamline manufacturing processes both in hose assembly and thermoplastic hose extrusion while maintaining quality and cost initiatives of the desired product and facilitating and supporting various lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
Coordinating and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles across the departments material flow paths, and must gain a complete view and understanding of the area's manufacturing process to be successful.
In this role, you will respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests / customers to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
This position will work with a team that is charged with helping to develop new products as well as supporting the existing product offering to fit customer needs or address market gaps while maintaining quality and cost initiatives for the project.
In this role, the selected candidate will serve as the technical design and project leadership functions on product development teams; develop appropriate project costs, performance requirements and schedule. Focus activities to meet these goals.
This position will work across all of the businesses to establish and drive process standardization and improvement. The Manufacturing Engineer will support multiple global projects/resources in their development, implementation and sustainment.
