In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading the effort to implement best practices; Coaching and training direct reports and plant leaders in lean manufacturing and problem-solving principles; Assisting and mentoring direct reports, plant management and CI teams with planning and facilitation of strategic plans, kaizen workshops and other lean activities.
Provide hands-on support and any necessary training during implementation; Engineering responsibilities including feasibility studies, introduction of designs and drawings to Manufacturing & Quality Management systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will eb implementing proven operational best practices; facilitating and leading change through kaizen events; providing hands-on support and any necessary training during implementation.
Analyzing part drawings and related engineering data to determine the operation necessary for the fabrication and assembly of product. Developing and writing sequence of operations and time estimates for each operations specification.
In this role, you will engage facility leaders and their respective organizations to ensure that continuous improvement strategies are carried out effectively across all areas utilizing lean and six sigma methodologies to assess problems, motivate people, and implement process changes which will result in a new level of sustained, operational effectiveness.
This position is responsible to build and drive a continuous improvement culture at the facility level. The Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager will use Lean and Six Sigma tools to develop, lead and implement projects which improve operational efficiency and deliver savings which improve our profitability, market position, and competitiveness.
