The Oncology Medical Affairs Director (OMAD) is a field based oncology therapeutic and disease expert who develops on-going medical and scientific professional relationships with scientific leaders in large academic centers, NCI comprehensive and designated cancer centers, integrated delivery systems and large oncology provider practices.
In this role, you will be direct and coordinates nursing service and other hospital activities on the specified tour of duty to insure competent and quality patient care, under direct supervision of the Chief Nurse Officer.

The hospital's medical services and caring staff work together to provide patients with a completely coordinated continuum of care, from acute and sub-acute inpatient medical services to outpatient services and programs, including a 24-hour dedicated physician-staffed emergency room, intensive care unit, physical therapy and sleep study lab.
In this role, you will be accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development.
In this role, the selected candidate will collaborate with Shared Services in completing the monthly reporting package within deadline; involved in Quarter end processes (Balance sheet analysis, account rec., data request, etc).
