The engineer will also lead technical teams to define Digital Mockup (DMU), Functional Interfaces (FICD), and Physical Interfaces (FICD) and Physical Interfaces (ICD) between Engine Systems and mating Propulsion System Components.
The System Engineering group coordinates Technical Reviews such as System Requirements Reviews, System Function Reviews, and Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews; and also coordinates configuration change board activities.
In this role, the selected candidate will interpret system requirements and decompose to develop subsystem requirements; drive and maintain traceability between system requirements and subsystem requirements.
For this role, the candidate must have a demonstrated analytical and mathematical modeling skills to solve complex control, diagnostic and/or software system problems and the ability to work at the implementation level.
This position is also responsible for planning and executing small-to-medium scale projects that would include new business unit initiatives and updates to existing products and services that require planning, incredible attention to detail, and flawless execution.
Coordinate general engineering support of proposals and negotiation. Manage and coordinate engineering Customer Requests For Information (RFIs) for proposal fact-finding and negotiations. Support negotiation. Interface with the BAT and customers.
