In this position, you will plans and performs engineering, design, maintenance, and other technical and administrative tasks involved in the development and improvement of new and existing automated assembly equipment as well as all other production equipment, products, and processes.
The senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for design and project engineering duties including subsystem specification generation, concept/preliminary design definition using CATIA V5, internal design projects with drawing package off-load, Source Control subsystems supplier technical oversight and management.
In this role, the selected candidate will interpret system requirements and decompose to develop subsystem requirements; drive and maintain traceability between system requirements and subsystem requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure new processes have adequately demonstrated specified process and test control capabilities, through being the Champion for PFMEA, DFM, DFT, DFSS, CAPA and NCR.
The job responsibilities will include both leading projects and participating in projects related to DNA sequencing technologies that result in new product introductions, applications and improved system performance.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will hold a leadership role in the engineering department. Will assume responsibility for, and direct manufacturing engineers in new product introduction and manufacturing floor support.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide plastics engineering input to support injection molding related engineering activities; provide technical direction for plastic part design, injection mold design, build, and processing between company manufacturing team and outside suppliers.
