This position is responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of operational and compliance risk management processes as it applies to companys defined benefit and defined contribution plan assets.
The Risk Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining an effective end to end risk management program including control effectiveness measures for one or more segments of the Businesses /capability groups and client and industry infrastructure.
The incumbent advises on new processes / products, initiatives and strategies from a risk and control perspective; guide the business unit(s) through the various governance approvals related to new initiatives.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring industry practices and trends in Risk Management, investment managers and plan sponsors. Responsible for benchmarking assessments, best practices identification and implementation. Assess the need for new or revised policies in the event of new regulatory requirements or as identified through audit activities.
In this role, the selected candidate will conduct evaluations of various equity and equity derivative portfolios which involve supervisory functions, ADRs, Consumer Staples, Home Builders equity, algorithm development, research and other projects intended to expand and improve the firms long term performance.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for Gas Distribution risk management activities including assessment and mitigation activities based on industry recommended and best practices.
In this role, the selected candidate will help develop and lead in-house risk modeling initiatives around global insurance programs, with a goal to optimize premium and retention level structure, and Enterprise Risk Management assessments.
In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate public safety and emergency management operations for the Town, serving as liaison with relevant federal and state agencies and municipal departments, and manages special projects as assigned.
In this role, the selected candidate will interpret business processes and identify control points to ensure SOX compliance; administer and be responsible for the Companys internal control testing system.
The Risk Manager will assist in managing the companys insurance risk management program by identifying, quantifying, controlling and monitoring non-benefit insurance-related exposures along with risk management programs. This role will work collaboratively with insurance brokers, carriers and project teams to ensure overall compliance with the companys Risk Management goals, policies and procedures.
