This position is required to plan, lead and/or execute studies towards formulation development for preclinical and clinical stage molecules. The incumbent will also serve in the capacity of formulation subject matter expert for formulation-related matters across Alexions commercial, clinical and preclinical stage products.
In this role, the selected candidate will be able to work with raw data, experienced in interpreting and dealing with outliers and missing values. Able to browse and understand the actual companies quarterly and annual filings (SEC forms 10-Q and 10-K).
The scientist will work closely with his/her supervisor to conduct routine in vitro drug metabolism studies designed to evaluate small molecules as inhibitors of drug metabolizing enzyme. Additionally this individual will be responsible for routine administrative tasks.
Manage and implement medical research activities and coordinates strategies essential to the successful administration of research projects; carry out translational research for development of disease-related biomarkers.
Scientist III, you will be responsible for conducting mechanistic in vitro studies to evaluate metabolic and transporter interactions of drugs and experimental compounds in various in vitro models including but not limited to hepatocytes.
