The successful candidate will have interest in the field of sanitary wastewater engineering, and have an in-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with wastewater conveyance, pumping, and treatment, and a working knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls engineering related to wastewater systems.
Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions. This includes project safety, scheduling, engineering, material control and may provide day to day direction of onsite administration staff and engineers.
Ensure necessary planning is executed, prior to the start of each project, to support a successful project completion, including, but not limited to, staffing projections and planning, general conditions estimates, project budgets, project scheduling, logistics planning and subcontractor evaluation/procurement.
Work directly with international and domestic customers, suppliers, PW program and engineering groups in the design, manufacture and installation of various pieces of support equipment as they relate to uninstalled engine test.
Provides technical and design consulting services to support projects for producing I&C design & construction drawings for industrial & municipal water and wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities.
Support development of standard work and tools for data collection and data maintenance in support of regulatory and customer requirements and collaborate with other professionals to ensure that P&W meets our business goals and regulatory requirements in this area.
This position must also provide P&W Repair Council support across multiple programs. This activity requires interaction across several organizations and businesses to insure the best possible decision for P&W. P&W Network market position, financial and overall repair strategy are key tools to be advanced as part of this activity.
