This position is in Engineering and is part of the Engineering Development Program at Pratt & Whitney. The Engineering Development Program, or EDP, is a multi-year program for new college hires that has been implemented to: 1) accelerate technical capability through substantive work rotations focused in specific disciplines; and 2) connect EDP participants with a network of technical resources & engineering experts.
The Project Engineer will support the daily technical design execution, integration, analysis and is responsible for reporting of cost and schedule performance within the Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT).
The PE will perform project management activities associated with budget and schedule planning, IPT team meeting coordination, product qualification testing, and hardware procurement coordination. The PE will be responsible for executing all Project Engineering standard work to support the IPTs projects.
