This position will service the Hartford, CT region with some assistance to other regions as needed. The PCMS business serves the healthcare community through efficient management of capital medical equipment installations in various critical care and surgical areas.
The Field Engineer is responsible for generating new business and ensuring growth of existing accounts by working with primarily with structural engineers to specify Powers products, as well as with our sales team to assist contractors and distributors during the bidding and construction phases of a project.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide clear and constructive product feedback to Product Management team based on customer requirements; help document best practices in implementing and leveraging solutions.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for key account customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge while providing specialized installations, repair service, preventative maintenance, training and on-going support at key hospitals throughout the region of medical imaging hardware with a software / server interface.
In this role, you will use self-initiative and judgment to identify problems, develop root cause solutions, and provide technical & administrative direction to resolve technical and logistical issues involving the F119 engine during on-wing, test cell, and maintenance operations.
In this role, the candidate will maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, appointments, closed sales, and follow-up activity within assigned territory using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool.
