The Staff Electrical Engineer performs broad based electrical design, development, review, and documentation. Success in this role is predicated on an individuals ability to contribute technically under FDA regulated medical device design process while actively contributing to work efforts and reporting project status to project management.
This position is responsible for integration with IPT design, structures and Aero/Heat Transfer engineers, establishment of component validation requirements, as well as manufacturing and procurement/delivery of engine hardware within the Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT). Special focus on rotor manufacturing risk mitigation and schedule execution for next generation HPC rotor design.
In this role, you will support of electronics development programs. COTE provides support to a variety of products including analog and digital PWBs, electronic controllers, power conversion and power distribution equipment used in aircraft electrical power generating systems.
The PE will perform project management activities associated with budget and schedule planning, IPT team meeting coordination, product qualification testing, and hardware procurement coordination. The PE will be responsible for executing all Project Engineering standard work to support the IPTs projects.
The Project Engineer will support the daily technical design execution, integration, analysis and is responsible for reporting of cost and schedule performance within the Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT).
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical system, performing various trade studies, and carrying out electrical design and system integration activities underlying our proprietary technology.
