In this role, the selected candidate must have a good analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work independently on Data Analysis & reporting task; end to end knowledge in ETL landscape starting from source system, warehouse, datamart and reports.
This role will support EIS department data systems needs by developing enterprise IT tools and in-house applications. This role will provide opportunities in designing/developing IT tools, as well as project management/leadership. TheEIS Data System Architect will report to the EIS Data Analytics Manager.
In this role, the selected candidate must have understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 modules like General Ledger, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales & Marketing, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Manufacturing (Process), Quality etc.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for designing end-to-end data pipelines, from collecting and processing raw data to applying advanced analytics to a diverse range of datasets. He/she will cover the entire lifecycle of the pipeline including ongoing data monitoring and controlling data integrity.
The Technical Architect will have experience in Oracle and ETL tool like Ab Initio to build data marts/ data warehouses. He/She will be involved in designing a transient data mart using Oracle/Ab Initio until the long-term strategic Hadoop based data platform can replace it.
This position is responsible for medium to high complexity data modeling, mining and warehouse initiatives for a whole domain(s). In addition, this position utilizes business and domain knowledge to obtain business requirements from end users, design solutions and document and communicate the solution for both business and technical audiences.
This person will use the current tools on site but also make tool recommendations based on what is most efficient for the process (ETL toold, data replicator, certain methods); this person will also lead the team on the process that follows, including transformation of the data and various types of scripting.
In this role, the selected candidate must have a strong background in relational databases and traditional data warehousing solutions, yet you have spent significant hands-on time mastering alternative data solutions either on behalf of your employer or on your own in order to understand the larger evolving data architecture landscape.
