This position will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts for our companys services globally; drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for business transactions, including potential acquisitions and strategic ventures/investments; drafting and reviewing vendor contracts; and providing legal advice as necessary on contract matters and business transactions.
Accountable for reviewing and analyzing legal documentation and preparing diligence materials associated with mergers & acquisitions, credit transactions, equity offerings and resolving related legal issues.
This attorney should have the ability to shape and execute intellectual property strategies to support business goals using sound, practical judgment and good business sense, the ability to collaborate and be a strategic business partner with strong analytic, problem solving and project management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, and the ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task assignments.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled at drafting and prosecuting medical device patent applications, identifying patentable subject matter, generating invention disclosures, closely collaborating with research and development teams, and developing and executing effective patent prosecution strategies.
In this role, the selected candidate will draft contracts and other legal documents, recommends approval/modification of contracts proposed by outside parties, and negotiates with outside parties; assist with/supports comparable tasks in other areas outside of core expertise/primary responsibility.
