In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for application development (.NET, C#, VB and SQL skills required); responsible for the monitoring and rectification of any errors found in the system.
This role includes significant face-to-face interaction with Railroad business partners in support of multiple functional areas, including Communications, Eligibility, Enrollment, Billing and Collection, Finance and Treasury, and Cobra Administration.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide assistance to DEV and QA groups to include participation in meetings, building out environments, and troubleshoot deployment/configuration related problems.
In this role, the selected candidate will take an active role in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, UI design, architecture, programming, unit/integration testing, and maintenance.
In this role, you will receive some supervision and direction. Knowledge of the business area's functions and systems, and system and applications program development technological alternatives. Good judgment. Good communication skills. Ability to work effectively with business areas and IT management and staff.
In this role, you will maintain and provide end-user support once the enhancements are promoted to production. This includes managing the software development life-cycle from co-ordinating changes to testing and documentation.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for system programming and analysis tasks of advanced complexity within multiple applications; act as technical team lead on critical projects, providing estimates, deliverables and execution plan.
