As a Network / Systems Administrator for Network Operations / IT this position executes with supervision, the following defined procedures, to accomplish the complex elements of technical duties dealing with the entire hardware architecture.
Responsible for installing and maintaining systems, comprised of Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreements in support of DISA STIG and DSS ODAA baseline requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will support the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and support of hardware, software, and communications node equipment in mission and administrative environment as primary duties of this position.
Systems Administrator candidates will have the necessary skills to learn the nuances of these applications in order to be able to walk users through using the applications, perform administrative tasks like re - enabling accounts or resetting passwords, and assist with advanced tasks.
This position provides Windows (primary) and UNIX/Linux system administration services including server installation, integration and configuration of the system, as well as the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Instructions (SOI's) in support of SSC DoD Classified Areas.
In this role, the selected candidate will participate in a team environment; lead and responsible for daily system administration and management of the overall technical systems including servers, infrastructure assets, data, backups, redundancy, and circuits.
The ideal candidate will develop solutions to moderate problems, utilizing ingenuity and general direction or oversight. The candidate must understand how their tasks fit within the overall program goals and perform their work accordingly.
This position reports to the VP of IT and will participate in a team environment. Lead and responsible for daily system administration and management of the overall technical systems including servers, infrastructure assets, data, backups, redundancy, and circuits.
In this role, you will provide first level technical support to the war-fighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local hardware, software and networks. The selected candidate will assist in all hardware/software installations as directed.
