In this role, you will be responsible for installing system software, maintenance, break fix activities, operating instructions and maintenance procedures, performing impact assessments, project planning and design activities, determining future requirements of hardware/software, cost estimation and assisting with trade studies for new systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop remediation scripts to automate as much as possible; evaluate, test, and define configuration item stack for all hardware and software components within the architecture specific to Unix/Linux derivative operating system servers.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining technology operations to include performing system updates and back-ups, maintaining antivirus/antimalware solutions, performing back-ups, and detecting/repairing hardware, etc.
In this role, you will act in a lead role, providing daily management for one or more junior technical administrators; coordinating with the team in activities including work planning, status reporting and client relationship management.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of systems administration including networks, applications, and telecommunications, the general care, management, and improvement of mission critical servers, network, and software systems as well as for providing prompt assistance for staff and client IT Help Desk issues in support of the Help Desk staff.
In this role, you will install and configure Windows operating systems to include Server 2008 R2, Server 2012, and Windows 7 and 10. The selected candidate will configure server and workstation hardware as necessary according to system requirements.
This role is responsible for the administration and support of Red Hat Enterprise Linux for the Unemployment Insurance Modernization project. This includes coordination with the agency customer, CDLE, the vendor, InnoWake, as well as the various stakeholder groups within OIT.
In this position, you will be responsible for performing routine (daily, weekly, monthly) system checks to ensure all networks, workstations/servers and networking components are functioning properly. Perform system maintenance to address hardware and software issues as well as general system administration including account creation and system documentation.
In this role, you will provide technical direction and leadership to a small team. The selected candidate will be maintaining documentation reflecting the current operational external storage environment.
