As a Senior Network Security Engineer you will be an in-house subject matter expert who diligently assists with the improvement of information security across the organization by understanding the threats it faces and working closely within the Global Information Security Operations team to set direction via policy and technology mechanisms.
The Sr. Network Security Engineer is part of an IT Security team that designs, implements, maintains, troubleshoots and audits the security of our network infrastructure, firewalls, IPS, servers, system.
This position assists with division and facility-based project planning, strategic planning, 24x7 on-call support with other members of division IT staff, and may be required to supplement facility-based, on-site support to technical resources.
The Senior Network Engineer will focus on the detailed design, develop, and implement the communication network design architecture to add new capabilities to the C2BMC system including, GIFC, Sensor netting, Test, Training, and Operations, and Network management. Candidate will support the national team Network development process to ensure a structured development process and the required design documentation.
In this role, you will be able to setup and maintain network infrastructure in the Labs, customer facilities and Tactical shelters, and have experience / knowledge in IP network addressing design, Command Line Interface ( CLI ) and Device Software Configuration tools such as Junos Space and JWEB.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering design and technical support for an enterprise class routing, switching and wireless environment including Voice Over IP, SIP, QOS, VPN, wireless technologies and network based handheld and printer solutions for Arrows regional and distribution facilities globally.
Successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Cisco enterprise class switches, routers, firewalls, wireless and VPN solutions. He or she will possess the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks within established scope and timeline, will demonstrate strong knowledge of LAN / WAN engineering and support to include routing, switching, security, QoS, and monitoring/management strategy and solutions.
