Responsible for managing entire project life cycle, including pre-construction budgeting / schedule development through procurement, shop drawing / coordination development, construction, space turnover and contract closeout.
Leads the long term program planning effort, including the overall implementation strategy, scope of deliverables and delivery dates, definition of major program/project milestones, and cost/benefit. Ensures alignment with strategy, operational objectives, policy and standards - identify and leverage synergies to other initiatives.
The Project Manager is responsible for project and/or task management for civil engineering projects; the quality of civil/ structural engineering work performed, client service, utilization of junior staff, and new project pursuits.
The position includes the following activities: project planning, cost estimation and proposal development, integrated schedule and risk management, requirements and design management, procurement management, scope management, project execution, issue resolution, project monitoring and control, stakeholder management, verification and project closeout.
Responsible for selection and hiring of direct reports and associates for warehouse and transportation positions. Directs their activities, evaluates their performance, and approves their merit pay increases.
Develop and implement strategies and plans to ensure your team meets or exceeds the project delivery contractually and financially. Measure and report progress, but dont just look back. Develop tactics to make sure we stay on track.
This position will serve as a liaison with both internal and external clients. This position shares responsibility for business and project development, strategic planning, risk assessment and mitigation and corporate reporting.
Assist in preparation of EH&S action plans or EH&S process improvements for assigned projects, job-walks with all stakeholders, EH&S reviews to identify possible hazards or opportunities for improvement.
