Responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s). Role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources.
The Trauma Program Manager assumes the day-to-day responsibility for process and performance improvement activities as they relate to nursing and ancillary personnel and assists the trauma medical director in carrying out the same function for physicians.
Assists the Nurse Manager with the evaluation of staff; assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of standards of care for the unit and the patient population; participates in providing and monitoring staff competencies.

In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the patients medical, psychosocial, resource and spiritual needs are identified and a plan is developed and implemented to address identified needs.
This position plans and provides clinical support to patients and staff. Demonstrates clinical expertise of the assigned area. Provides leadership in clinical, financial, and personnel management within the department.
Supervises, leads, role models and coordinates the activities of personnel engaged in providing excellent patient focused care and supporting physician practices through the provision of integrated, effective and innovative nursing practices and related medical services.
This position in accordance with system mission and goals will provide the coordination of the neuro surgical procedures by leading the Operating Room Neuro team through development of staff, collaboration with surgeons and performing the neuro surgical procedures.
