The training system resides on the Standard Space Trainer ( SST ) platform and is a critical system utilized by the Air Force to train and evaluate their operators and crews prior to being certified to fly operations.
The candidate will develop Embedded Linux based firmware and interact with other Engineering team members to perform full software engineering life-cycle tasks, including requirements analysis, design implementation, integration test, documentation and maintenance.

The NOC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure, responding to system alerts and technology incidents, performing troubleshooting, standard change implementation and data center management for Mercury's IT infrastructure.
Work with participating BMDS elements to define test architecture and operational procedures, dentify test requirements, objectives, and data collection points to meet specified technical performance measurement and system capability specification goals.
