In this role, you will be responsible for
management of all customer impacting incidents within Blizzards global IT services. The primary focus of incident management is the full restoration of systems in the least amount of time possible. In other words, our primary job is to maximize system uptime.
In this role, the selected candidate will be tuning UNIX performance; working with and configuring HBA and network interfaces for high I/O traffic, in an enterprise environment consisting of 50 or more servers; this includes creating and managing secure, system and user defined accounts, using products such as BeyondTrust's, PowerBroker software.
In this role, you will collaborate with system administrators, database administrators, application support; designing hardware / software configuration to ensure maximum performance and reliability remaining compliant with vendor requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible to develops system support requirements by reviewing and analyzing customer business processes and evaluating available es and/or supplier capabilities.
In this role, you will design and implement new features and services based on business needs. The selected candidate will engage with executives to collect business requirements and to present road map.
This position requires an individual who is punctual, detail-oriented, able to adapt under stressful conditions, can multitask and possesses solid technical, communication, and customer service skills.
In this role, you will perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media or disks and replicated off site for DRP and COOP purposes.
