The successful candidate will be directly responsible for State sales tax filings, property tax filings, some foreign payment reporting and related journal entries; support the Payroll department with any payroll related tax issues.
In this role, you will assist in preparing tax analyses and various areas of research and special projects. The successful candidate will also develop technical skills through providing assistance in the preparation of tax works and conducts tax research.
In this role, the selected candidate will interpret tax laws into logical requirements that are used to create our tax offerings; analyze tax data to determine customer usage and impact, assess risks to tax scope and help develop risk mitigation strategies.
This position is responsible for filing sales/use tax returns and business license filings including the management of related data. Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment. This position consists of a number of monthly routines.

The Tax Analyst will work with the Accounting department on a contract basis on matters related to sales and use tax, VAT (value-added tax), property tax, and other required statutory filings, maintain and update the sales/use tax calendar, tax codes, tax rules, and tax forms in Avatax, ensuring the timely, complete, and accurate filing of tax returns and payments.
This position is responsible for payroll tax compliance for US based employers and legal entities. This candidate should possess a strong understanding of payroll tax and payroll tax filing rules for US payroll. This would require knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations.
In this role, you will perform a variety of complex payroll tax activities, such as review and reconciliation of tax filings, process amended tax returns, payroll tax reporting and managing special audits.
