Responsible for the overall technical performance of dozens of projects for a wide range of technologies that are in various stages of development and implementation. Provides technical oversight and direction to a diverse, multi-disciplined engineering team.
The successful applicant will become part of a small, diverse team of system developers tasked with creating next generational Avionics, Communications, and embedded system capabilities and providing technical support to existing, fielded systems.
Provide requirements support across multiple projects within an ADP program. A qualified candidate will be able to understand the scope of the program and work across IPTs to ensure all aspects of the project are covered with appropriate requirements.
Perform qualitative and quantitative hazard analyses on aircraft systems, human vehicle interfaces, and flight/ground operations to identify and mitigate safety hazards. Interface with aircraft design teams, supplier, internal management and external customers.
Coordinate integrated ordnance testing activity with affected organizations, including systems engineering, ordnance engineering, quality, program offices and their consultants. Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
Establishment of functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystem.
The chosen candidate will perform R&M allocations, predictions, failure modes effects and criticality analysis (FMECA), failure reporting and corrective action system (FRACAS), reliability grown modeling and monitoring, reliability-centered maintenance and maintenance task analysis.
Working with the cloud and network engineering teams to devise automated ways of target discovery and LUN allocation. Create and execute test plans to provide robust testing against corner case situations for bandwidth, IOPS, latency.
