As a Structural Engineer Transportation at Hyperloop One you will play a key role in developing the transportation system of the future. Your designs and analyses will be instrumental in developing a safe, cost effective and robust design.
In this role, you will be developing & releasing Structures design layouts, 2D/3D drawings-models, ICD's (interface control documents) as well as disposition RCI's (Request for Change or Information) & ECNT's (Engineering Change Nonconformance Tags) and supporting/developing affordability initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a lead guiding the development, implementation and application of advanced test suites for the purposed of design validation and improvement of structural systems in our vehicles including BIW, Chassis, Battery, etc.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of electronic components. Responsibilities may include: the design of chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization, documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout, modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components, performing developmental and/or test work, reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams, planning and organizing design projects or phases of design projects.
In this role, you will be responsible to plan and direct the execution of inspection standards, methods and procedures used in complying with all applicable 14 CFR regulations and manufacturer's recommendations.
In this role, the selected candidate will work independently with only general oversight and will be required to provide guidance to junior engineers; the candidate will be responsible for documenting work clearly and concisely.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities of assigned subordinate engineers, and support of manufacturing operations and customers in resolving technical problems related to the aircraft structure and systems.
