Performs advanced technical writing in the creation of ATA-compliant operation and maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, and other professional-level documents from a variety of source design engineering.
Establish and support documentation practices that reduce review times and deviation by researching errors and inconsistencies in existing documents and communicating effectively with appropriate personnel.
The Senior Technical Writer role prepares and/or maintains customer facing documentation pertaining to release information and end user training, including release notes, user training, job aids, and video development.
Interpret complex technical information and author IFUs in collaboration with stakeholders (e.g., product development teams, technicians, engineers, project teams, regulatory teams and management). Author following established Edwards standards and requirements for DITA content.
Address customer needs by providing them with with easy-to-access, easy-to-understand documentation; enlist the aid of the Support team to identify improvement areas and improve the customer experience.
The Senior technical writer will work closely with Business Unit representatives and the Senior Content Strategist to ensure the DITA content aligns with the content strategy and new Edwards requirements for authoring.
