Builds a deep understanding of the relationship between loan transactions, cash flows, and financial reporting implications throughout the loan lifecycle, from loan origination through payoff or account closure.
Responsible for source system data analysis from EDS/FDM etc, variable gap analysis, data extraction design and coding, and data modeling. As a member of the Enterprise Risk team the Data Analyst will collaborate across business lines to collect, organize and analyze data from several source systems within the Bank.
The role will identify business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs and work closely with clients and IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.
Under general supervision, this position exists to assist the organization in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking, internally managing, and reporting data. This position functions both as a senior analyst and as a high-level statistical analytics programmer.
Work closely with the teams analysts, management, project managers, business analysts, developers, quality assurance and database administrators to determine root causes for data quality issues and devise remediation plans that both prevent future occurrences and restore data that has already been affected.
