The Sales Development Manager is responsible for managing internal customers and facilitating communication. Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales to support sales strategies and tactics to increase retention and growth of customers.
Assembles & analyzes retailer sales data including: collection of retail sales information from retailers and/or licensees; reporting of product from all lines of business; identifying those products that are out/under-performing expectation; understanding seasonality by category; determining trends by category and property performance.
Oversees the development of business initiatives and the driving of business results with existing and newly identified partners, distributor and customers. Engages in the development of white space channels and assist in new market assessments.
The interested candidate will be required to have a strong business acumen to develop, lead, work closely with the different on the ground sales teams, and ensure successful closures of Sales opportunities with our strategic customers.
Collaborate with their manager to develop, present and execute a customer product ( brewer and beverage ) strategy with specific tactics to achieve the AOP for each assigned customer, as measured by key performance indicators.
Identify, develop and close new business opportunities within a defined territory/region and industry with emphasis on positioning Junipers Vision, Strategy, Business Value, Solutions and Network Architecture alternatives.
The National Accounts Sales Manager will also be responsible for generating proactive action plans that increase brand awareness of companys products and 7 Elevens overall Private Label Program in the retail markets.
Drive the creation of retailer programs that utilize trend vision, product and property interpretations, and retailer advertising/circular mock-ups used in RBD presentations, road shows and trade shows.
To achieve annual ingredient sales objectives within specified region or specific accounts. Manage day to day activities for including; Sales, Relationship development and Purchasing guidance. Liaison between Sales, Operations, QA, and Planning to confirm that the customer and GID expectations are met. Prospect for new customers and work with customer R&D to encourage the movement into higher value added ingredients. Develop in-depth relationships with customer personnel and assess long term strategic plan and needs.
