Ensures a consistent Safety Culture throughout the locations that incorporate operations, safety and maintenance departments and emphasizes the team approach and individual responsibility of all employees to achieve common goals.
As a key leader, the Manager of Patient Safety Officer and Regulatory Readiness is expected to work with the Senior Director of Quality and other leaders in the SJMC organization to provide consultation, education, training and evaluation processes to ensure that the facility maintains a status of survey readiness and focus on specific national patient safety goal efforts.
This position is responsible for maintaining plant compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations. It is critical that this position has an understanding of permit requirements, the regulatory process, plant operations, and the ability to identify, define, investigate, and assess EH&S problems. Expertise in training, auditing, industrial hygiene, as well as hazard identification and correction are required.
Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a proactive safety culture, through influencing and guiding all team members, to take personal accountability for their own safety, the safety of others and facilitate a stronger safety culture.
In this role, you will be expected to define and implement an effective sales strategy for the assigned territory. She/He will develop a pipeline of opportunities and progress them from lead generation to final closing.The position holder will be expected to achieve a predefined annual sales quota amongst other objectives.
