Maintain relationships in order to broker services provided through HR experts to include compensation, benefits, talent acquisition. Provide HR related training; facilitate HR related focus groups and workouts as needed.
The Corporate Functions Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will report directly to one of Amgens four HR Vice President and will develop solutions to a variety of complex HR challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the organization in wide variety of HR activities. The HRBP will provide full lifecycle HR support, which is both tactical and strategic and work as a collaborative partner with all local employees, managers, HR team and as a contributing member of the Legrand North America HR Team.
Provide strategic counsel and support to leadership to identify and resolve employee issues. Monitor all employee relations case activity, ensuring follow through to resolution of all cases. Act as primary interface with legal counsel on employee relations matters.
The selected individual requires a strong capability to anticipate client needs and proactively identify areas for collaboration and integration inside and outside the HR organization, while serving as a change agent and coach.
The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
Provides guidance and support to supervisors in all tasks related to performance management; assists supervisors in selecting and carrying out appropriate methods for correcting performance deficiencies.
Assist business unit leadership with data analysis and reporting of organizational design, structure, compensation and other factors to help incorporate and drive industry best practices within the operational unit.
Recommend, implement, and oversee the facilitation of training courses on Human Resources topics including (but not limited to) new hire orientation, benefits education, management best practices, employment law, and compliance training.
Provide valuable input and expertise to your client groups in terms of employment legislation, policies and practice. Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, engagement and retention activities.
