The Procurement Specialist will oversee and assist the Purchasing department by driving results by lowering company costs, improving supplier performance, and continually improving the process and service for the betterment of the organization.
In this role you will coordinate the transport of light module equipment and vehicles in interfacing with manufacturing, engineering, mission management, and outside transportation vendors to ensure timely delivery.
In this role, you will help mitigate risk by ensuring that vendor agreements and purchase orders have appropriate contract terms in place, and work with the business and vendors to improve the efficiency of the purchase to pay process.
The selected candidate must be able to work and communicate well, both orally and written, in a team environment as this position involves significant and continued interface with Customer personnel at all levels.
In this role, you will analyze supplier and/or customer data regarding product inquiries and sales to identify additional opportunities to proactively meet customer requirements. The selected candidate will analyze product data and improve product segmentation to improve supply chain processes.
This is a service position and is responsive to the needs of internal and external (suppliers) customers. Primary responsibilities center on ordering and expediting production material necessary for the operation of the organization.
