The SoC Performance Modeling Engineer will develop SystemC TLM AT models for networking data path hardware offload/assist and high-speed connectivity subsystems used in SoC performance simulations to evaluate subsystem performance and architectural trade-offs.
The candidate should be able to integrate performance considerations at the hardware, hypervisor, and application layers into an overall understanding of why various software components perform as they do, and then convert this knowledge into developing a performance analytics engine to do automated problem detection as well as recommendations for solving those problems.
In this role, the selected candidate will be working with internal engineering teams and external customers to optimize and characterize new device components and features as well as novel system architectures.
In this role, you will monitor and report HPC system health/metrics. Identify performance bottlenecks. Modify system wide parameters to improve performance. Evaluate effects of those changes. Gather data and report finding to senior HPC engineers.
This position is responsible for power and performance measurements, analysis, and estimates of intels unlaunched value and mainstream client ccg products and/or iotg products.With familiarity of both intel and competitive road maps.
