Employee shall oversee the entire business unit production process and is responsible for accepting/rejecting Work Orders to ensure that the accepted; work Orders are completed in the safest, most efficient and faultless way possible.
Responsible for assuring personnel adheres to Company Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Productivity standards; responsible for process Improvement, and operational details relating to schedules, crew management, training and disciplining.
Write Standard Operating Procedures and ensure that policies and procedures are followed in accordance with customer requirements; participate in scheduling production and labor resources to assure smooth plant operations.
This role provides consulting to ensure technology or process owners have access to the required information and training for effective system or process operations and manages the development, tracking, maintenance, and reporting of performance metrics (for example, data quality, customer metrics, financials).
Responsible for the supervision of all employees in the production department including participation with interviewing, hiring, promoting, employee evaluations, reprimands, and weekly/daily work schedules for the employees in the department.
Provide effective supervision and coaching to assigned shift/employees to achieve the required quality and production goals. Maintain department records and inventories. Manage the movement of product through the production area.
The ideal candidate will be reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible for operational aspects which include supervising a staff of up to twenty personnel, scheduling work, maintaining safety vehicles, product, and personnel training.
