In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent; ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required).
Responsible for actively driving and managing the qualification, presentation, and evaluation stages of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and solution subject matter expert.
Maintain a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks. Work collaboratively with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management.
Analyze application security needs based on the sensitivity or proprietary nature of the data and work with the appropriate teams to develop and execute new or existing security technologies or processes to support the business strategy.
This individual should also possess strong interpersonal skills that enable them to engage with client contacts at all levels (CIO/CTO and Directors/Managers) and will have a consultative problem solving mindset (pre-sales is 20% of the time).
Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help plan and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
In this role, you will work with product teams to review security during the implementation process to provide guidance on effective countermeasures provide subject matter expertise on encryption, security controls, and secure programming practices.
