As a Camera Test Engineer you will be responsible for defining and implementing manufacturing and test processes for image capturing modules and devices. You will be a key member of the development team and will be the main interface among the internal engineering and operations teams as well as our OEM partners.
The candidate will be responsible for project leadership and coordination of technical, schedule, and budgetary issues for the thermal design, analysis, and testing of commercial and/or government spacecraft and their subsystems and components.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop complex new connector/coax/ harness assembly product design from conception to design verification testing with full responsibility for technical success, cost effectiveness and timely development of technical proposals, achieving optimal technical solutions within the allowable budget and requirements and constraints.
In this role, you will work with limited guidance taking engineering released documents, support from Industrial Engineers and production floor personnel, and investigations to develop manufacturing work instructions for the shop floor.
In this role, the selected candidate will design Improvements to Low Voltage Switchgear, Medium Voltage Switchgear, and other Power Distribution Products, use and/or develop tools necessary for engineering calculations using Mathcad, Pro/Mechanica, Excel spread sheet, ANSYS, and other simulation tools.
In this role, the selected candidate will execute conceptual engineering and optimization studies for projects using Aspen HYSYS to define projects in terms of technical scope, cost execution strategy, and duration.
In this role, the selected candidate will lead process changes, very (very) flexible work hours to mimic production based on study required, blueprint reading including ability to incorporate design requirements into actual physical standard work, ability to review ISO.
In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to production of quality parts per customer requirements and to the standards in the company manufacturing system; develop and follow manufacturing plans for all processes with the company.
In this position, you will manage and perform manufacturing engineering tasks of new product development projects, from initial product concept through release to production, production ramp and sustaining support.
