This position is accountable for the development, evaluation, documentation, and improvement of the manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards in efforts to insure manufacturability at minimal cost that meet the required quality, repeatability, cycle-time, and safety goals.
In this position, you will analyze and solves problems from basic engineering principles, theories and concepts through to a wide range of complex and advanced problems which require novel and new innovative approaches or a major breakthrough in technology.
The candidate will be responsible for project leadership and coordination of technical, schedule, and budgetary issues for the thermal design, analysis, and testing of commercial and/or government spacecraft and their subsystems and components.
