Provide strategic counsel and support to leadership to identify and resolve employee issues. Monitor all employee relations case activity, ensuring follow through to resolution of all cases. Act as primary interface with legal counsel on employee relations matters.
Provides guidance and support to supervisors in all tasks related to performance management; assists supervisors in selecting and carrying out appropriate methods for correcting performance deficiencies.
The Corporate Functions Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will report directly to one of Amgens four HR Vice President and will develop solutions to a variety of complex HR challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Senior HRBP will use developed HR consulting skills to help their business clients achieve key business objectives and increase the effectiveness of their organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing successful talent and leadership programs, organizational development/effectiveness strategies, employee engagement, company-wide HR initiatives
Identifying and addressing people needs in the organization; developing effective relationships that promote trust and value; leading employee relations efforts; resolving problems and sensitive matters. May support or conduct investigations.
Recommend, implement, and oversee the facilitation of training courses on Human Resources topics including (but not limited to) new hire orientation, benefits education, management best practices, employment law, and compliance training.
Oversees and advises team of Workday super-users that review and troubleshoots daily issues and action items within Workday; must be able to jump in to troubleshoot, identify system issues and execute plan to resolve them; monitor team productivity and tickets closed in 'MyService' portal to ensure best service and meeting/exceeding standards set in Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
