Under the direction of the Director of Education with communication lines to the specialty Director, the Perinatal Education Coordinator provides clinical, educational and performance improvement leadership for personnel involved in the care of patients with specialty knowledge in perinatal services.
The Education Program Coordinator takes a leadership role in the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of education programs/ projects for patients, personnel and the community across the health care continuum. He/she works on a peer level with Clinical Nurse Specialist and Service Line Managers.
