The Contract Manager (CM) position is responsible for contract development and management of all contractual documents, working in partnership with the Sourcing Specialist, Suppliers, internal Business and Legal Departments to negotiate and develop robust legal and commercial terms and conditions with Verizons Suppliers.
In this role, you will lead, negotiate, and manage multiple large hospitals and medical groups, physician, and/or ancillary contracting activities in accordance with Corporate, health plan, and state guidelines.
In this role, you will be responsible for Monitors contract performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations, and ensures that cost and technical objectives are being met.
In this role, the selected candidate must be responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating (in person and over conference calls), and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and analyze performance data (consumer complaint, order fulfillment, budget variances, schedule attainment, etc.) in order to identify business plan variances using established systems and ad-hoc problem solving.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing the life cycle of contracts ranging from products and services to highly complex outsourcing relationships with multiple vendors, contracts, and contract schedules.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a network of contract manufacturers for a wide range of products to ensure capability and capacity are available to meet the business needs.
In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate resource use with project superintendent; for example, craft assignment, crew sizes and project layout for offices, traffic flow, and material storage.
The selected candidate must be able to work directly with customers in high-pressure situations, have strong analytic, organizational, time management, and communication skills; thrive in a team environment; and possess the willingness to put in the effort needed to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
In this role, the selected candidate will serve as a super-user and advocate for the systems that support our legal and contract activities: Docusign, Box, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Steelbrick, and serve as primary internal contact for Docusign and Box.
