The Accounting team is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to assist in all facets of the corporate accounting process. This individual will report to the Accounting Manager and will play an integral role in both the day-to-day accounting functions and the month-end close process.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare reconciliations, review and code invoices, close books, prepare financial statements, organize financial reports and interface with other accountants and lawyers.
In this role, you will research and resolve complex accounting issues balancing client preferred solutions within the confines of the US GAAP structure. Common complex accounting areas include revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, preferred stock, business combinations, and consolidation.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for preparing cost analysis for the SIS Brea location of product and process improvement initiatives, support of annual budget preparation, periodic forecast preparation and analysis of actual/standard cost analysis.
Collects and analyzes financial data and supports the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and reports; performs additional analysis for explanatory text required for reports and statement.
In this position, the Lead Accountant will be most senior accountant in the consolidations and GL group with primary responsibility for executing the global consolidation process, preparing the consolidated cash flow statement and accounting for restructuring and equity-method investments.
This Practice Leader position will be primarily responsible for leading a department of professionals to assist clients with the implementation of the new revenue recognition (ASC 606) and lease accounting (ASC 842) standards.
Use your awesome analytical skills to compile and analyze financial information to prepare month-end adjusting and closing entries to accounts along with reconciliations and year to date roll-forwards of activity.
