The Inside Sales & Editorial Representative is responsible for maximizing the sales of Pearson Canada products by driving the usage of textbook resources and online digital products at universities and colleges.
In this role, the selected candidate will receive general inbound customer calls in a contact centre environment typically on a single product and or proposition; provide high quality service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction by resolving the customer query at first contact where possible.
In this role, the selected candidate will sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory; manage accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and implement a strategic plan to ensure regional sales and retention targets are met; manage a team of sales representatives to develop skills and knowledge to meet their sales and retention targets through coaching, training and mentoring.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability to work independently to manage ones own time and resources in order to meet or exceed monthly sales targets and other key performance indicators.
In this role, you will assist in planning call and e-mail activities to generate Leads using the most efficient means, in collaboration with the Field Marketing, Solution Specialists, Inside Sales Management.
In this role, you will manage and grow assigned territory or group of accounts through the sales of repair service, modernization, service agreements, controls and portable systems to new and existing customers.
The role will require the maintenance of existing accounts and a targeted and driven focus of new customer acquisitions across the given region. The role will involve travel and carry aggressive sales targets and quarterly objectives.
