This position will independently provide and direct technical validation engineering support for process and/or equipment upgrades, replacements, and modifications in manufacturing and manufacturing support environments.
In this role, you will develop mechanical designs in a concurrent engineering environment from the conceptual stage through completion of the detailed design using industry standards such as pro/engineer or solid works software packages.
In this role, the selected candidate will work independently and sets an example in ensuring compliance to Quality System requirements as a member of the Project Q transfer team; utilize Six Sigma/Process Excellence to solve complex problems and develop optimal solutions Partners with R&D, Quality, Regulatory and Compliance, suppliers and other groups to ensure effective product and knowledge transfer of clinical chemistry analyzers.
In this position, you will develop, and implement of innovative solutions to electrical system/asset issues. This person will also be expected to respond to unplanned events, work independently, and make technical decisions and recommendations.
In this role, you will conduct work flow analysis and make recommendations for improvement in material handling and shop layout. The selected candidate will plan, define and execute manufacturing cost reduction and product improvement programs existing products.
