The primary purpose of this position is to perform work which involves conventional engineering practices, but may include a variety of complex features. This position will apply sound judgment when making adaptations and/or modifications to machinery, test and measurement equipment and/or systems. Ensures Integer internal and external customer expectations are met or exceeded.
In this role, the selected candidate will work independently and sets an example in ensuring compliance to Quality System requirements as a member of the Project Q transfer team; utilize Six Sigma/Process Excellence to solve complex problems and develop optimal solutions Partners with R&D, Quality, Regulatory and Compliance, suppliers and other groups to ensure effective product and knowledge transfer of clinical chemistry analyzers.
The successful candidate will develop improved process strategies, process safety, yields, plant capacity and uptime performance. May act as technology guardian for a particular unit and/or leverages technical competency across sites. Generates new technology applications. Interacts with internal and external organizations. Mentors other engineers/chemist and assists in operations training.
Prepares estimates of tooling requirements and of fabrication, assembly, integration, test, and other manufacturing labor content by analyzing blueprints, models, sketches, or engineering descriptions.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervises others engaged in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing and calibration of mechanical and electrical equipment providing heat, hot water, ventilation, a/c, electrical distribution and plumbing systems.
An individual who will: manage process documents, tooling and fixturing for programs; drive continuous improvement utilizing LeanSix Sigma tools; perform ergonomic assessments and provide typical Manufacturing Engineering rigor required for Aerospace Industry product realization.
Analyze In-service reliability and maintenance data from operators to assess their performance. Calculate statistics and assess in-service reliability performance of systems and components for CRJ and Q Series aircraft programs using data from the MDA FRACAS database.
