Define and manage the strategy, tactics and programs to create partner demand for Symantec solutions through the use of PR, Product & Channel Marketing, Advertising, Strategic Relationships, Direct, Event, Channel and Online Marketing.
Proactively gathers and reports important VOC on industry/application trends, distributor concerns, regulatory changes, competitive activity on the leading edge of market trends, competitor activity to help drive future initiatives and priorities, including product development and strategic marketing.
The Channel and Field Marketing Manager will develop and execute the marketing strategy and programs in Canada for Symantec Sales Teams (including Government) and key channel partners to generate demand and contribute to pipeline creation.
Drive sales through proactive outreach to our existing partner base (SaaS licensing, hosting, support, and professional services); maintain and grow trusted relationships with all partners and drive continued value of our products and services.
Monitor and report on competitive programs from leading competitive vendors; develop strong working relationships with Software Strategic Account Managers to drive sales campaigns with partners and to promote partners to the SAMs.
