In this role, you will design, test, integrate, program, and modify electrical controls and power distribution systems used in Automated Storage and Retrieval Mechanisms such as Linear and Circular Sorters, Garment Hanger Solutions, Load Racks, Pick and Place Robots, and Transport Vehicles and Conveyors.
This position provides support to existing asset management activities and strategies as needed. Employee will have some primary objectives related to asset management activities and will also function as bench support for single threaded roles.
This position requires sporadic presence at customer sites, as such, candidate must be able to obtain necessary clearance and/or credentials to travel abroad and comply with customer requirements for executing work on their site.
In this role, you will interface closely with process engineering, operations, reliability, project engineering and maintenance and is responsible for executing work safely to the standards and procedures by the industry, company and refinery.
In this role, you will be responsible to provide applied engineering and technical consultation for customers in the areas of power systems studies, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair and training.
In this role, you will act as a proponent for center specific projects involving system enhancement, reliability, etc. Perform and/or oversee studies that determine the best way to improve reliability and overall power quality for customers.
