Perform daily walkthroughs of the plant with the General Manager to discuss production and costing issues. Review labor reporting and cost, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution cost, returns and inventory levels.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on operations of the company's financial team, directing the organization's overall financial policies and driving profitable growth.
The Assistant Controller will be directly responsible for the accounting activities related to Sarah Cannon and its associated entities. This will include month-end close, variance analysis, revenue recognition practices, statistical reporting, being a key participant in the development of both the capital and operating budgets and primary point of contact for audit activities and financial reporting functions.
