The Cardiovascular Sales Specialist (CSS) is accountable for implementing the sales strategies for approved Cardiovascular (CV) products consistent with Novartis compliance standards as well as all applicable legal requirements for those key targeted Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems within an assigned territory.
Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies within the assigned geographic territory to achieve individual, territory and company goals for sales, market share, call metrics, appropriate sample distribution, etc.
Partner with Consulting Engineer(s) and Technical Solution Architects to develop and implement a strategy to exceed assigned quotas, drive sales opportunities, and collaborate with internal and external teams to drive success.
You will develop a superior product and disease state knowledge and effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals in dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, product efficacy and safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
Must develop strong knowledge of treatment algorithm and business dynamics within accounts to address customer needs and create business opportunities in a competitive environment, consistent with company policies and guidelines.
An essential point of contact, this position establishes, develops and maintains professional relationships while providing superior customer service and maintaining contact and professional relationships with key accounts such as schools or other key industrial customers within the territory while showcasing the product line via the Education Mobile Kiosk.
