The Registered Nurse will work under the supervision of the Unit Manager following the American Nurses Association (ANA) standards of practice, and code of ethics within a Patient and Family Centered Care Model.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing IV nursing care in the home or ambulatory setting, performing in-hospital discharge assessments and occasional IV hook-ups, teaching patients about their home infusion therapy, and providing ongoing monitoring of their treatment.
As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure the nursing care plan is being Followed. Working alongside Certified Nursing Assistants, you will work in collaboration with physicians and therapists to ensure the plan of care for the patient population.
In this role you will provide clinical services within the scope of practice, as defined by the state laws governing the practice of nursing, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
In this role, you will make recommendations regarding complex or potentially significant issues to manager, including issues regarding training, compensation, work hours, working conditions, hiring, and corrective action.
