In this role, you will review and analyzes manufacturing techniques and processes (J.I.T., Continuous Flow, Kaizen, Manufacturing Cells, etc.) that will reduce manufacturing labor costs, product through-put time, W.I.P. (Work In Process) inventory levels and overall manufacturing operating costs, while striving to meet production and cost goals.
As the Lead Paper Process Engineer, responsibilities include delivery of the process engineering deliverables on time, within budget and meeting quality expectations. May require proving the supervision and technical direction of a team of process engineers on larger projects.
Interfacing with stakeholders including manufacturing, polishing, and electro forming teams as well as with key project scientists and engineers to ensure strong team interaction and high productivity.
Provides electrical engineering, production engineering, and manufacturing engineering support in the form of manufacturing validations, process validations, audits, and other engineering reviews and activities. Exercises strong understanding of manufacturing/production engineering tasks, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The candidate will work in the fabrication dept., project mgmt. exp., process improvement, systematic talk through changes, needs strong mechanical background- hydraulics, pneumatics, how equipment works.
